Rich Glick and Pamela Quinlan, Principals at GQ New Energy Strategies, are thrilled to announce that Liz Salerno has joined the firm as a Principal. Liz brings extensive experience from the non-profit, industry, and government sectors to the firm, which will now be known as GQS New Energy Strategies.
“Liz has been a pioneering leader in clean energy for the past two decades. Her analytical expertise and strategic vision have set her apart in our industry,” said Glick. “We are honored to welcome her to our team.” “Rich and I are elated to reunite with Liz,” said Quinlan. “Her depth of knowledge and strategic acumen will be invaluable to our clients as we navigate the complexities of the clean energy transition.” Salerno joins GQS New Energy Strategies from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), where she held several positions, including Lead Advisor to then-Chairman Glick on Transmission and Technology Initiatives. In this role, she played a key part in developing regulatory reforms that led to FERC rulemakings addressing regional transmission planning and generator interconnection challenges. Before joining FERC in 2018, Salerno served in leadership roles at Siemens and SiemensGamesa, providing market and policy strategies for the companies’ power generation businesses, including one of the world's largest wind turbine firms. Prior to that, she built the policy analysis and research team at the American Wind Energy Association as the Vice President for Industry Data and Analysis. "I am thrilled to join forces with Rich and Pamela, who are both exceptional leaders in the clean energy field," said Salerno. "Throughout my career, I have focused on breaking down barriers to the clean energy transition. I look forward to leveraging my experience to help our clients achieve their regulatory and business objectives."
